VVi, The CAV Motorcycle Units, a true national and the largest Canadian veteran, 99-percenter motorcycle club, and the PPCLI Association have developed a joint program to aid veterans in need. The programs are developed for the Internet environment, including user-friendly database access and search capability. This joint program includes Veteran Aid Program and Professional Services Program.
Veteran Aid Program
Veteran Aide is an outreach program that veterans-in-need can contact other volunteer veterans. Veterans-in-need will be able to view a database, select a volunteer veteran that may have had similar experience, disability, or wound, choosing from either the same locality or far across the country. The idea is to assist the veteran-in-need in getting the help they may require, including:
Directing the veteran-in-need to the proper approving authorities.
Directing the veteran-in-need to the appropriate professional options.
Being there as listening support for the veteran-in-need.
Professional
Services Program
Professional Services lists services recommended by other veterans:
Medical Professional Services, includes veteran-friendly and qualified medical services of all natures.
Legal Services, for those veterans requiring legal representation in challenging VAC determinations or submitting claims against the Crown.
Job Opportunities, includes links to specific job search firms, as well as job positions that are available.
Volunteer
To make these programs work, there is a need for many veterans to come forward and to supply noted services to assist our less fortunate veteran peers.
It is easy to volunteer. On the right sub-menu, click on the JVSP tab and then click the sole item JVSP.

The page will be displayed to the left. Select either the Aid button or the Pro Svc button.

To view either the Aid database or the Svc database, click on the Left sub-menu JVSP, and select either Veteran Aid or Services.

For either database a new screen will open to the right.
