“21 witnesses including the Veterans Ombudsman, the Royal Canadian Legion, the Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans Association and a former VRAB member appeared before the Committee on Veterans Affairs. Based on the testimony of these witnesses, the Committee made 13 recommendations designed to improve the Review and Appeal process for Veterans and requested the Government return in a year to update the committee on their progress.
