Article TitlePetition of Non-Confidence
Article ContentPetition of "Non-Confidence of members of Parliament"

In Canada, members of parliament represent the regional and local concerns of the constituents in their riding's (also called electoral districts) in the House of Commons. Members of parliament solve problems for constituents on a wide variety of federal government matters - from checking on individual problems with federal government departments to providing information on federal government programs and policies.

In Canada, a non-confidence motion is a motion in the House of Commons, which, if passed, means that the government has lost the confidence of the House. Please note there is no such thing to address the non-confidence pertaining to individual members.

If you feel your member of parliament is not making a positive change and or a real difference in addressing your needs and concerns, then please do something about it.

Sign this on-line petition of "Non-Confidence of your federal member of parliament", and help inform others in your area of the lack of leadership shown. Accountability is not simply a word used, but rather an obligation and responsibility of action taken.
